MISSION

ILUNION RECICLADOS is dedicated to the treatment, management and recovery of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment.

Its main audience target is formed by the Take back schemes of Electronic Equipment, manufacturers, producers or distributors subject to the RD 110/2015 on the management of electrical and electronic waste, government and municipalities, as well as users and individuals.

On top of being a pioneer in the field, while carrying out its activities with a modern management philosophy and approach to business, ILUNION RECICLADOS is a unique company in its industry since it harmonizes its activities and environmental work, which performs with an invaluable social role by creating employment for disabled people.

VISION

The organization aims to be a clear reference in the WEEE recycling industry nationally and internationally, both in the management of production processes of recycling, decontamination and recovery, as well as in the exemplary nature of its Corporate Social Responsibility, all of which can be a way to become a unique example worldwide because of the compatibility of both actions in an effectively and profitably way.

ILUNION RECICLADOS aims to be one of the 3 largest companies in the WEEE recycling business nationwide during the next 4 years regarding turnover volume, and the only one which gets it while being a special employment center in Europe and perhaps in the world, all through a clearly modern, ethical, environmental and socially responsible management philosophy.

  • Keep in place a documented management system aimed to SATISFY the CLIENT REQUIREMENTS, ensuring the requirements of the organization as well as applicable LAWS AND REGULATIONS, which will aim to prevent failures of QUALITY, POLLUTION & HEALTH and SAFETY conditions at work , being these parameters a priority over any other activity of the organization.

  • TRANSMIT quality, environmental and health and safety REQUIREMENTS, to our CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS, demanding a behavior according to that established internally.

  • MOTIVATE AND TRAIN the staff involved in the activities of FUNDOSA ILUNION RECICLADOS, SA; promoting a RESPONSIBLE teamwork ATTITUDE and gather proposals for improvement of the system in place, promoting professional ethics.
  • Meet the requirements of the standars and models in which our management system is based on ILUNION RECICLADOS, belongs to the European Electronics Recyclers Association (EERA) and therefore the undersigned recycling company, as part of the first chain of recycling electrical and electronic equipment, agrees to maintain the following standards of conduct:
  1. 1. Obey in all our national and regional legal requirements of the countries in which we are acting.
  2. 2. We agree that the global concern for the environment is increasing and we will comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations.
  3. 3. We agree that safety of workers is always a priority and provide all reasonable means appropriate to the conditions of safety in the workplace.
  4. 4. We agree to ensure that our treatment and recovery operations are according to the Articles 6 and 7 of Directive 2012/19/UE.
  5. 5. We will not allow any waste without separating and untreated, is sent outside the European Union.
  6. 6. We will not allow any hazardous waste coming from electrical and electronic equipment is sent to non-hazardous waste landfills and incinerators for disposal or energy recovery, either directly or through intermediaries.
  7. 7. We guarantee that we have a certificate system or in its place another type of comprehensive environmental management system or equivalent, and that our operations meet the requirements of good manufacturing practices.
  8. 8. We are committed to ensuring that the operations of recycling waste electrical and electronic equipment downstream comply with environmental and health and safety regulations. Efforts will be made on the facilities that provide the best available treatment services and less polluting.
  9. 9. We agree to maintain auditable tracking of waste electrical and electronic equipment and materials throughout the recycling chain.
  10. 10. We agree to provide sufficient guarantees to cover the cost of closing our facilities, and also to provide liability insurance for accidents and incidents related to the residue under our control and ownership.
  11. 11. We agree to keep the programs in the industry of electrical and electronic equipment and / or legislation that allows a regulation and sustainable recycling industry in Europe.
  12. 12. We agree to support the design of the environment through the provision of relevant information.
  13. 13. We are committed to ensuring that the statutes of the EERA are preserved and cooperate in following these statutes in our operations, verifying their compliance through the EERA or by an independent auditor agreed by the parties concerned.
